Macintosh (Computer)
The Macintosh, manufactured by Apple Computers, was an amazingly advanced twentieth century personal computer. While its windowing intereface and mouse navigation system has largely fallen out of use due to voice recognition, some cultures still prize it intuitive user experience and smiley startup picture. Montgomery Scott, in 1986, mistook the mouse for a voice recognition device (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home).
