Michael Garcia
I've been writing Star Trek fiction for the past twenty-one years, ever since I was hooked on the original series by my mother, and experienced the Next Generation and beyond. I prefer to write stories that don't have any of the featured characters in them because I feel like they don't belong to me. But the Trek universe is fair game.
My favorite Star Trek series is Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
In addition to writing Star Trek, I also dabble in some original science-fiction with military and political elements. I watch an unhealthy amount of television (though I've put that on hold until the WGA strike is settled) and movies. I read any sci-fi novels I can get my hands on and I have a predilection for fanfics of any show I like (Trek, SG-1, Atlantis, Firefly, West Wing, etc).
I enjoy participating in writing communities and offering critiques of pieces that my fellow writers put in front of me. I offer my services to anyone with an open mind. I like helping others a great deal.

Due to the investigation, Rear Admiral T'Cirya pulls the ship from border duty as it was originally intended.
