The Reader's Resource for Star Trek fan fiction
Author Profile
name
Shaun Hamley
Shaun is a 24 year old Englishman. A very patriotic and somewhat inspired individual, he first started up his own doomed Star Trek project, Darkside/Lightside, because of a need to tell tales about the ethics and morality of the Star Trek universe. He wanted stories that looked deep into areas of Trek that were only briefly mentioned or referred to in the past. However, the lack of support from other individuals led to the project's demise after only nine episodes. Will there ever be any more? Who knows. In February 2003, some eight months after the last D/L episode, Shaun joined the Renaissance team because of that need, that desire to write Star Trek. This led to six contributions to the Renaissance world until the middle of 2004 when Shaun decided it was time to move on. Being very proud of his contributions, Shaun took some time out of the virtual screenwriting world for the real world. Getting married to a lovely young American, Shaun decided to return with his wife (and partner for the last two years) to the lovely sunny beaches of Florida in the United States of America. Having spent a few months to get settled, Shaun has now returned to the virtual screenwriting world, and Star Trek, to once again tell stories of ethics and morality. His hobbies include sports (namely Cricket and Football/Soccer) as well as a love for science fiction TV that mainly extends to Star Trek, Star Wars, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and beyond. He also enjoys writing his own songs with his guitars and intrepid soul. He hopes the future will be kind to him but doesn't hold out too much hope that it will be. If bad things happen to good people, what the hell is going to happen to the bad people?
